- Lake Champlain REU Program: Interdisciplinary Research on Human Impacts in the Lake Champlain Ecosystem - June 1 to August 9, 2014
The Rubenstein Ecosystem Science Laboratory offers a 10-week Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program that will provide ten undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct research on the ecological and socioeconomic impacts of humans in the Lake Champlain ecosystem. Funded by the National Science Foundation, REU students will participate in an interdisciplinary cooperative model that promotes integrated thinking across disciplines within and between the natural and social sciences. - The Plant–Microbe Interface: An NSF-REU Summer Undergraduate Research Program
The Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at Texas A&M University offers an opportunity for undergraduate students to participate in a 10-week intensive research program during the summer.
Students will pursue independent research projects that tackle contemporary challenges that can be addressed by a better understanding of the plant-microbe interface. These challenges include the development of next generation biofuels, strategies to ensure the integrity and safety of the global food and fiber supply, and approaches for enhancing agricultural sustainability.
