The National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) has officially named Veronica Sosa-Gonzalez, Coordinator of the Center for Workforce Development and Diversity (CWDD), a Certified Facilitator in recognition of her commitment and skill as a facilitator. This places her in a select group committed to disseminating evidence-based training while contributing to the mission of creating an inclusive scientific workforce.
The NRMN is a mentoring network funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and is part of a nationwide consortium of professionals targeting the goal of creating a more inclusive professional environment across all career stages in many different scientific fields. Certified Facilitators with the program provide local trainings annually and share new training approaches with others in the network.
