Ms. Miranda Lescaze - Director of VT EPSCoR’s Center for Workforce Development and Diversity at Saint Michael’s College - Biographical Sketch


Miranda is the Director of VT EPSCoR’s Center for Workforce Development and Diversity at Saint Michael’s College. In this role she coordinates the center’s education and outreach programs that work to increase the Vermont STEM workforce in size and diversity. The CWDD’s flagship program engages Vermont students and teachers in the RACC research program.

Miranda holds a M.S. degree in Water Resources from UVM and a B.A. in Geology from Carleton College. She has an extensive background in watershed research and management having served as the Technical Coordinator of the Lake Champlain Basin Program as well as several watershed associations, and conducted research on Lake Champlain. She serves on the Program Advisory Committee of Lake Champlain Sea Grant program. She also has experience teaching in the VT public school system and holds a Vermont secondary educator license.
