Ms. Jennifer Mahon - Doctoral candidate in the clinical psychology program at UVM - Biographical Sketch


Jennifer Mahon, B.A., is a doctoral candidate in the clinical psychology program at the University of Vermont. She received her Bachelors of Arts in psychology from the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon. Prior to her graduate study at UVM, she worked at the Sleep and Mood Disorders Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University investigating biological rhythms in patients with clinical depression, and seasonal affective disorder (SAD). She is currently working under Kelly Rohan, Ph.D., at UVM investigating cognitive vulnerability to mood disorders and SAD. In 2011, Mrs. Mahon was granted an NRSA individual fellowship from the National Institute of Mental Health to fund her remaining pre-doctoral training including her dissertation project, a pilot test of an integrative chronobiological-cognitive model of SAD recurrence.
