On December 18th, 2014, a RACC high school team from Bellows Free Academy-Fairfax presented their research poster at the annual fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU). Science Teacher, Tom Lane, and two students, Rebekah Larose and Sophie Lee, traveled to San Francisco to present their work analyzing data their school has collected over the past three years - which looked at total phosphate and TSS in streams feeding into the Missisquoi and Winooski Rivers.

"Attending AGU fall meeting was an eye opening experience. I was able to find out about interesting research that has the potential to help create major changes in our world in the future." - Sophie Lee, BFA-Fairfax student
"It was amazing to experience first hand what it's like to be a scientist and have the opportunity to communicate our research to other scientists. It was inspiring to be among thousands of incredible people whose research has has a major impact on the world." - Rebekah Larose, BFA-Fairfax student
