CWDD Coordinator Veronica Sosa-Gonzalez led Vermont EPSCoR’s annual mentor training on May 17, 2018. A total of 25 BREE mentors attended the training, which involved different exercises and activities centered on aligning competencies, self-efficacy, and diversity and inclusion.
The training session allowed BREE mentors to prepare for the arrival of summer interns and plan projects in the coming months. A portion of the training was dedicated to laying out work plans for the incoming 2018-2019 BREE undergraduate internships. The mentor training utilized materials provided by the National Research Mentoring Network.
