Dr. Sheldon does research in aquatic ecology and ecological relationships. Her research focuses on invasive species in oceans, lakes and streams. She has studied the beneficial properties of the aquatic weevil Euhrychiopsis lecontei, which eats Eurasian watermilfoil.
