Betsy Ward

Betsy is the Director of Grant Development and Award Monitoring for Vermont State University. Before moving into sponsored projects administration, her work focused on community-engaged scholarship and learning. She served as the PI for several grants in this field, at both the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College. In her previous role as the Executive Director of Utah Campus Compact, she directed a statewide network of 11 member colleges and universities, working with administrators, faculty, staff, students, and community members to develop successful models of community-based research and student volunteerism.
