"Finding the Money"
Dr. Patrick Clemins, Cyber Specialist, and Private Sector Liaison, VT EPSCoR, will moderate this panel discussion on Small Business Innovation Research / Small Business Technology Transfer grants aimed at innovative entrepreneurs seeking funding. A panel of grant recipients and funding specialists will discuss SBIR/STTR, how it differs from and can be used with venture capital, and how Vermont entrepreneurs have used federal SBIR/STTR grants to boost technology development and build successful businesses.
Panelists will include:
- Steve Arms - Swarms Ventures, LLC, Founder and Former President and CEO of MicroStrain, Inc.
- Jack Glaser - President and Founder of MBF Bioscience
- Cairn Cross - Co-Founder and Managing Director of FreshTracks Capital I, II, III
