LeeAnn Trusela Joins Vermont EPSCoR

LeeAnn Trusela joined the EPSCoR team in October 2018 as the Project/Office Manager for the Center for Workforce Development & Diversity at St. Michael’s College.

Between 2001 and 2018, LeeAnn worked for UC Los Angeles, first as a research analyst and Business Manager for the Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing (CRESST), and most recently as the Project Director for the NSF-funded “Mobilize/Introduction to Data Science (IDS)” grant, where she worked with an innovative team of mathematicians, data scientists, and science educators to develop math and science curricula that teaches high school students to reason with – and think critically about – data in all forms. The Mobilize project mission of supporting women and underserved populations in the pursuit of STEM careers has sparked a passion for equity in STEM education that LeeAnn hopes to bring to her work with the EPSCoR team.

LeeAnn holds a BA in French Literature/Linguistics from UC Santa Barbara and a Masters of Education from UC Los Angeles.

Dr. Veronica Sosa-Gonzalez, Coordinator of the VT EPSCoR CWDD is “very excited to have LeeAnn onboard the CWDD Team. We look forward to her many contributions!”
