Dr. Veronica Sosa-Gonzalez
Veronica Sosa-Gonzalez, PhD, Vermont EPSCoR CWDD Coordinator, has been elected to serve as a member of the NSF EPSCoR Education, Outreach and Diversity (EOD) Council. Dr. Sosa-Gonzalez will serve as an at-large member on the EOD Council for the 2020-2021 period.
Dr. Sosa-Gonzalez, who began her involvement with Vermont EPSCoR as an undergraduate summer intern in 2009, performs national outreach efforts to form stronger connections and improve STEM diversity opportunities. She said that her appointment to the EOD Council will "allow her to greater strengthen Vermont EPSCoR's connections to other jurisdictions, improving the diversity outreach options for multiple regions."
