VT EPSCoR is excited to once again offer travel awards to Vermont entrepreneurs who wish to attend the SBIR/STTR Spring Innovation Conference in Anaheim, CA on May 14-16, 2018. The VT EPSCoR Travel Award for Entrepreneurs includes funding for registration for the SBIR/STTR Spring Innovation Conference (formerly, the National SBIR/STTR Conference) and SBIR/STTR Workshop as well as travel expenses up to a maximum of $1000. Reimbursement is contingent upon the submission of allowable expenses with original receipts to VT EPSCoR.
Deadline for Applications: Wednesday, February 28th.
Awardees will be notified by Friday, March 9th.
Selection Criteria:
- Applicants should have made initial progress on a project that could lead to an SBIR/STTR award.
- Applicants did not receive a travel award to the National SBIR/STTR Conference in 2017.
- The cohort of awardees (up to 10) will be selected so that diverse fields of study (i.e. agriculture, medicine, engineering, etc.) are represented.
